The worst

If dirty, blood stained sheets and bedbugs are your thing than this is the place for you! Traveling on a budget for 6 months through SEA I've stayed in some rough places without complaint but this property was beyond any level of acceptable. Obviously waking up covered in bed bug bites was the worst aspect but adding insult to injury, the front desk demanded I wait in the lobby at check out while they "inspected" my room. As if.

Lovely shared balcony, clean hotel, near one of Battambongs markets. Laundry service across the road, Riverside area nearby.. Transport offices close by too.

The wonderful Mr Pov

A no frills hotel in a fairly central location. Huge room and a big shared balcony. Big bonus is it has a lift/elevator. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially our Tuk Tuk driver Mr POV who not only took us on our excursions but explained so much to us about the history of Cambodia and what we were seeing. Thank you.

If you are in town for a day it's good for a night I got stuck with a room with a leaking shower head so restroom was wett at all times that's the only complaint on my end. Staff was helpful, helped me get a ride and what to advoid.

On a tight budget ok

Clean and simple finished rooms. The location is very convenient because of all the bus companies is the neighborhood. It is very laud in the early morning and makes it impossible to sleep. Also in my 3 night stay my room has never been cleaned. For the internet you have to use a code instead of just a password like everywhere else and it's unreliable. For the price it's a good value but I'll skip next time because of the noise and the internet issue.

Nice hotel in a local business part of town

The First Hotel is not a Holiday Inn type of business, but is a typical Asian two star... clean rooms and respectful service. If there isn't one already outside, they will arrange a tuk-tuk with a few minutes notice. There are several restaurants within a few minute walk and a great coffee stand just across the street. There are also several bus ticket sellers on the next block and many companies will pick you up at the hotel itself.

エアコンなしなら千円を切る価格なのに、部屋は広くてとても清潔、湯量十分なホットシャワーも出て文句なしのホテルです。 夕方シェムリアップへ向かうつもりでしたが、どのバス会社も午前しか便がなく、ここにもう一泊しました。 フロントの対応もよく、とにかくお勧めです。

It was a comfortable hotel given the price however the bathroom needs improvement. Walls in the room needs painting. Wifi is flakey. Noise from the tyre business across the road is noisy.

Good stay

This hotel is well located a 15 min walk from the riverfront. The room was clean and spacious. They provided us with free water. There was a free pick up from the bus station which was amazing! They also did our laundry for usd1.5 per kg. There are a few restaurants nearby but we walked about a 7 min walk towards the river to find the most amazing breakfast at HOC. Buffet for usd 3. The hotel also offers tours. The bathroom made the room smell a bit damp until the aircon was on and the complimentary tuk tuk to town sounded great but is only from 6pm and then wasn't running when we needed it.

Nous sommes globalement satisfaits des prestations de cet établissement pour le prix. Tres bien situé dans'le centre de battambang, nous recommençons cet hôtel ! Par contre, éviter de réserver des billets de bus chez eux, nous avons connu une'mauvaise expérience.

La définition d'un excellent hôtel low cost

Très bon hôtel low cost: bien placé, calme, pas cher du tout (ma chambre double avec clim à seulement EUR 10), extrêmement propre, très bonne literie, et personnel tellement gentil! Juste un conseil. Expedia semble réserver des chambres climatisées (les "plus chères") avec fenêtre sur rue (calme) pour ses clients. Je suis arrivé la première nuit avec seulement une chambre "aveugle" disponible: c'est à dire avec une étrange fenêtre opaque...sur le couloir. Ces chambres sont étouffantes et bruyantes (discussion et rires des clients qui rentrent très tard... ou partent très tôt). Le personnel était très gèné, et m'a assuré une chambre sur rue le lendemain avec une exquise gentillesse. Chaleureusement recommandé
