I had a wonderful stay at the Maison WatKor. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the property is beautiful. What really made my stay even more special was the fantastic staff and owners. I was lucky to celebrate my birthday during my stay, and the owners and staff went above and beyond to make it memorable. They surprised me with a lovely “Happy Birthday” message arranged with flowers and greenery on my bed, a birthday dessert and a lovely gift. Maison Wat Kor owners and staff were very attentive to the minimum details and that made my stay truly memorable!

Above expectations in the Mekong Delta

A lovely home stay in the Mekong Delta….you adjust your expectations for where you are and this property surpassed our expectations. A great base to explore for a couple of days, service was unstated but excellent, food was very good and the owner was a fantastic host on our first night.

Wow, such a hidden gem! If you’re looking for a resort with Zen like qualities, away from the hustle and bustle, yet having everything at your fingertips provided by an incredibly attentive and proficient staff look no further. Just wish we had more than two nights in this resort. Rarely do we eat within the resorts that we stay but because of our timelines we had two breakfasts and dinners on site. Great quality and delicious meals! All was good in Battambang. Thank you Maisons Wat Kor.

I recently stayed at Maison Wat Du Kors with my sister and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—staff members were friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive to every detail. The atmosphere was serene and luxurious, with beautifully designed spaces that made it easy to unwind. Whether lounging by the pool or dining at the restaurant, the ambiance was perfect, and the staff went out of their way to ensure every experience was memorable. Staff is extremely warm and attentive to the guests'needs. Nice premises and swimming pool. Rooms are large and well furnished with natural materials in accordance with Khmer tradition. I greatly appreciated the attention to the environment and to sustainability, such as the efforts to avoid using plastic. Good choice of a la carte breakfast. Not having a breakfast buffet minimizes food waste. We had dinner here and the food was fresh and tasty, prices ok.

Rooms are in lovely old style Cambodian wooden houses around an ornate pond and there's a fabulous no-chlorine swimming pool. All the staff are so lovely and friendly, the food was the best we've had in Cambodia, the cocktails were epic, and the owners were always coming to chat with the guests. Super helpful at arranging local transport by tuk-tuk - which you'll need as it's a couple of km out of Battambang. Also helped us with visits to the local attractions and onward travel to SR. If you want an amazing Khmer experience stay here, and make sure you visit the very old traditional Khmer houses in the village near the temple, well worth a look and only 5 mins walk away. If, alternatively, you look for fault in everywhere you stay, or want a high-tech uniform mega-dull clone hotel go and stay in a Crowne Plaza! Or stay at home preferably!

This hotel is a must stay. I had high expectations as they were recommended but they exceeded my expectations. Great food, staff and not far from the city center. Just far enough to enjoy a true khmer experience and comfortably.

A calming, lush oasis tucked away in the outskirts of Battambang. Would need more than one night here. So peaceful.

Upon arriving to the property, we were greeted pretty fairly. The host gave us complimentary drinks and cold towels. We were given three rooms (which we requested) and one room still had another customers item still in there. She apologized and rectified the room. However when we went for breakfast the male owner greeted everyone except our table. We noticed the service was catered for white people vs same colored skin. The service was horrible. Breakfast was small portion and they were stingy with the portion! Upon checking out there was no one to help grab the suitcase to help us out and we were on the second floor (no elevator). I was extremely disappointed! Def will not recommend this place! I feel that they post pictures of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to catfished travelers!! It’s a cute hotel but hidden away.

The hotel was cute! The rooms were nice, the landscaping around the hotel was nice. Staff was great as was the breakfast. The owners are around and make the place feel very homey and warm. Adding plug in outlets, especially in the bathroom would be very helpful. Please note that the hotel is a bit secluded, you can't just walk out to the store...but I was looking for peace and quiet and that is exactly what I got.
