"The hotel is semi decent for the price. The front lobby didn’t have air conditioning which was frustrating during check in because I was sweating the entire time. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful "

After the first night, it was difficult to get extra sheets and towels, and our room was not cleaned during the stay.The day before we left housekeeping stepped up. But overall everything else was good close to all the bars and good food."

"Hotel is located in a very bad spot with no easy access. Very noisy at night as the property is backed up to a row of clubs. Staff? What staff? Barely a desk clerk to check in. I do not recommended this property at all"

"Our room had these odd wooden blocks screwed to the floor on the left side of the bed. They were obstructed by the bed skirt so they weren’t noticeable until you hit them with your foot! The bar was okay but they didn’t have anything to drink (non-alcoholic) aside from Diet Coke and squirt during dinner. Speaking of dinner, the cafe doesn’t stay open for dinner so you have to order dinner at the bar. The poor bartender was on her 5th day of employment (she told us) and was running back and forth between the bar and the kitchen to get people’s orders. My order was wrong and had to be sent back. Oh! And there was a convention for Texas defense attorneys so it was quite loud on our floor - you can hear the doors around you closing loudly for instance. The only redeeming thing I can say is that breakfast was very good and also when I told the girl at the front desk about the wooden blocks next to the bed and how dangerous they were, she apologized and had me fill out an incident report for an injury. I sincerely hope this property takes my complaint seriously and does something about that issue as it is dangerous, especially to someone elderly OR someone who’s not steady on their feet. For reference, I’m 38 and my foot hit that block and I almost lost my balance when I fell forward. That is a serious accident waiting to happen!! "I live here in Austin and just wanted a night away from home, rooms were available. Front desk staff very friendly and helping. My room was clean and cozy and enough space for me, as I was a solo guest. Breakfast was great, and had many options. Great location with street parking if you don't want to pay! Overall had a great experience!"
