"It was an amazing stay—we really enjoyed it! The staff were super nice and friendly from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The room was beautiful and extremely clean! They cleaned it twice a day, and every night they would ask if we wanted fresh towels. Breakfast had a great variety of options, and all the staff were incredibly welcoming. They always greeted us with a smile and were happy to help with anything we needed. We also had dinner at one of the hotel’s restaurants, Salivent, and the food was amazing! The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sea views. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend staying here!"

"Having stayed in many hotels around the world, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Hotel Martorell, having booked to stay only 1 week before arriving. The breakfast is great. The hotel is in the best possible location in Colonia, giving you the equidistant option of going to either Es Trenc beach or Platja des Dolç or des Carbo. Fantastic food options on the harbour front too."

"The hotel is in a great location and had everything we could possibly want whilst on holiday. Plenty of storage in the rooms which includes a fridge too. There is a refillable water jug for the room also. The restaurant and bar is great with lovely views over the pool and the sea. There is a quieter area inside still with big windows for the views over the bay. There is also a new rooftop bar on the 7th floor which gives amazing views including the best of the sunset. There is a decked area near the sea with sun loungers at a surcharge if you wanted to be closer to the ocean which was really nice. Reception is 24/7 and very helpful."

"Brilliant location looking out to several beaches with immediate access from the hotel. Clean, well-maintained and spacious room although furnishings are dated. Breakfast and dinner are great with a wide selection include GF. Quality of individual items varies but generally very good. My only criticism is that there’s far too few sun beds for the number of guests, so they manage this by charging extra. We just spent the day away from the hotel instead. A few other things require modest additional charges, eg coffee pods, beach towels. Some nice local walks and a few shops and bars, but not too commercialised."

"It's a fantastic place! A great pool bar and pool-side bar that serves good food. Dinner buffet is fine but not great. The food service hours are a bit restrictive. A quick walk into a city with lots of shopping and restaurants, and a very nice beach. Lots of children and activities for all ages. Extremely friendly to non-Spanish speakers. It seems like all public-facing staff are fluent in English and German, as well as Spanish."
