"Unbelievable! And something quite special and different. Mindblowing views from each room and a private terrace to boot! We walked out from the lodge to 3 wineries. Lunch, dinner, wine tasting. (We didn’t have a car but uber was totally fine to get around) we went to stellenbosch and Franschhoek to do the wine tram. Could have easily stayed longer: Mountain View’s, sunsets, stargazing all part of the package. Incredible. Thank you Banhoek for a wonderful time x"

"My husband and I stayed five nights end of April 2026 at Coopmanhuijs. From check in to check out, the staff made our visit perfect. We stayed in room #11. The room was super clean, the bathroom very spacious, and the little balcony to relax in the evening was perfect. "Fantastic hotel in a great location in Stellenbosch within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Staff were a pleasure and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A real shame that there was major building work going on at the property next to this one as it did mean we couldn't really enjoy our balcony or the pool area as it was so noisy - it would have been good to have been advised of this in advance of the stay.
