I enjoyed and likee mostly everything. The only thing I have to complain about is how cold the rooms were. We couldn't adjust the AC. It was somewhat uncomfortable.

The room assigned to us was in poor condition. The toilet did not flush properly, and the bathroom door remained ajar with no option to close or lock it—an issue that significantly affected our privacy. The beds were uncomfortable, and the room lacked sufficient pillows, making it difficult to rest. Most concerning was the attitude of the front desk staff, who were dismissive and unwilling to assist when we raised these concerns.

The hotel is great if you're looking for entertainment, a nice pool, and proximity to the San Jose airport. However, the food wasn't my favorite, it was just okay. It seems like they're cooking for a large number of guests, so the meals lack flavor and don't have enough seasoning.

It was a place to stay without any need to go elsewhere. The food was poor quality and the place needs to be completely remodeled. The required wristbands are scanned at every venue and you feel like cattle. Seating for meals was very slow at peak times. 45 mins waiting to be seated for dinner. The restaurants require reservations and are worth it. Avoid the buffet if possible.

Dirty sheets , pillows smelled like sweat, cockroach in the room, smell of mildew. I got a room type inferior to the one I paid. Staff were very rude, food very limited, lots of carbs and very limited protein in the buffet and limited portions. Lots of rules so we were told no a lot of times. For the price range and the value you get it is not worth it. Will not come back.

The property was decent. The rooms need an overhaul. They are old, and the water went out at one point. I will say where this resort thrived was its food. The buffet was fantastic & changed every night so you didn’t get tired of the menu (we stayed 9 days). The restaurants they had within the resort were also solid. We had a car which is certainly preferable as a tourist in Costa Rica. It’s very safe and I wasn’t met with one aggravated local. All love, and willingness to share their culture. The staff was also great. Very accommodating and friendly. The bar closes early and the adult bar also only allows you to order if you have seat, and all of the nights we stayed it was full… so if you don’t get there early you’ll likely be waiting. Overall great experience, I would definitely go back to Costa Rica, the resort was good value.

Hotel Fiesta Resort Puntarenas is beautiful the pool, amenities, and maintenance are excellent. The bellmen and restaurant staff were very kind. However, reception service and food quality need improvement. I had to complain to get the ocean view room I booked, and communication (like making restaurant reservations) was inconvenient. Thankfully, Angie, the guest service manager, was amazing, she apologized for the issues and supported me through everything. Thanks to her, the experience was much better.
