Incredible scenery. Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Facilities were excellent - kitchen is commercial grade. One of the best hostels we've ever stayed at - cannot recommend highly enough.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Very helpful staff. Also it was nice to have the bus passes available to use for around town.
The room & showers were very clean & the property was very well maintained.
Staff were helpful and quite friendly.
Overall a great option as far as hostels go.
Saw some gophers, a fox and some deer on the property as well.
Great experience, helpful staff. Right in the middle of Banff, and was super nice living in a hostel.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Cheap and straightforward nothing special but the kitchen was added bonus for allowing us to have a place to cook and prepare our meals. Loud banging of doors during sleep time is very disrespectful, the hotel will not let you give a good night rest but it will save you some $.
This hostel reminded me of the Brewster Mountain Lodge in downtown Banff. What a great ambiance!
Everyone was very friendly from staff to other guests. The amenities were excellent. A great kitchen to store food and cook it. Very clean too.
I felt comfortable staying here as a solotraveler at 60 years old. It was very quiet in the building that I was staying in.
Another great amenity was the complimentary ROAM transit pass. Just park the car and take the bus to Banff, or other tourist attractions.
I dealt with Jimmy at the front desk He was so accommodating and made my stay more assuring
Thank you HI Alpine Banff Hostel for an excellent stay!!
I like that the property was surrounded by trees and great views. I liked the bus pass which made it easy to get around. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
It's an amazing place to sleep, but also to hang out on bad weather days. The co-working space was great as was the cafe! Found everyone to be super accommodating.
Fantastic option for staying in the area. Best hostel I've been in. Staff are all really nice and helpful and the fact that there is a cafe and a bar on the property is awesome..they actively have events most nights and the cafe has great coffee and the food I had was a god price and tasted great.
First time staying in a hostel and this place exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, free bear spray to check out each day, free bus pass, large lockers and under bed storage. The restaurant and bar had great food and drink options at an affordable price.
