"A guest house, not a hotel room, was what I wanted. My room with private bath was clean, and the window opened for fresh air. TV in the room worked well. The breakfast buffet is always available. It's on 2 bus routes for easy access to Aberdeen city center. On arrival, make sure your phone is charged and you know how to do international calls on it."

"The hotel is in a lovely location and has impressive gardens and beach access, which were ideal for us to walk our dog. The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable for one night. Check-in process was easy and the staff were friendly. The free breakfast was not of a very good standard. The continental side was fine but the cooked breakfast was poor and we heard a few people complaining about it. It might be better not to offer free breakfast and instead charge for a higher quality...
