"I recently had a good 5 night stay here with my girlfriend. Room was large and clean. However the room and hotel is generally a little tired and could do with a makeover. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was decent enough. The hotel was close enough to the big shopping centre with cinema, ice rink, and bowling and also the bars. "Clean room, great staff. The hotel is very old and tired looking but I had a nice stay. I didn’t swim in the pool but my observation was that it was very small compared to the size of the hotel. I did note that almost all public areas in the hotel needed vacuuming and cleaning. Breakfast was ok .. pretty much what you get in most budget places "
