We completely enjoyed our stay there. It was a visit family trip. It was completely safe and relaxing while we were resting here. The entire Staff were very, very nice to us.
Staff were friendly, breakfast was good albeit limited selection. As another reviewer stated which we can confirm, bed sheets are not changed on a daily basis. Have to specifically ask when they clean up the room. Location of the hotel while further away from the downtown area worked out for our needs as we had access to a car to get around. 2nd time we’ve stayed in this hotel over the years and not many guests.

NO CONCIERGE ON ARRIVAL TO HELP WITH THE BAGS.
GAVE ME A ROOM WITHOUT A BACONY
I BOOKED AND PAID FOR A ROOM WITH A BALCONY?
BREAKFAST - THE CHEF WAS ABSOLUTELY RUDE, AND IN THAILAND YOU PROBABLY WOULDNT FIND 1 RUDE THAI IN A MILLION - BUT I DID!
JUST WANTED SOME FRESH COOKED EGGS INSTEAD OF THE COLD COOKED EGGS THAT WERE IN THE BUFFET.
THEY ABSOLUTELY IGNORED MY REQUEST.
SO I HAD MY THAI PARTNER ASK FOR ME.
I WAS THEN SERVED 2 UNDER COOKED EGGS AND MY PARTNER TOLD TO TAKE THEM BY THE CHEF.
I SAID THEY ARE NOT COOKED ENOUGH.
THE CHEF INSISTED MY FIANCEE TAKE THE PAN WITH THE EGGS IN IT AND BEING POLITE AND A BIT FLUSTERED DID AS THE CHEF TOLD HER AND GRABBED THE PAN WITH HER HANDS CAUSING BURNS TO HER FINGERS.
THE CHEF THEN TOLD ANOTHER CUSTOMER IN THE QUEE BEHIND ME TO TAKE THE UNDER COOKED EGGS WHICH I HAD REJECTED.
I THEN WAITED FOR A COUPLE OF COOKED FRESH EGGS.
ALL THIS TOOK AT LEAST 12 MINUTES FROM START TO FINISH.
I THEN GOT SOME ICE TO PUT ON MY FIANCEE'S BURNS.
AFTER BREAKFAST IN THE ROOM MY FIANCEE ATTENDED TO HER BURNS.
THE ONLY GOOD THING TO COME OF THIS IS THE YOUTUBE VIDEO.
REAL GUEST, REAL EVENTS, REAL DISSAPOINTED.
SIAMGRAND - WHAT A JOKE.
YOU COULDNT PAY ME TO STAY HERE AGAIN.
I/We used this as a base, and I'm glad we did. The only reason we didn't change Hotel is because it was paid for in advance. The rooms are large but shabby and not very clean along with the bathrooms. The staff make a difference as anyone knows the Thai people are very friendly and go out of the way to help at all times and always with a smile.
Would not recommend.
This was our 5th stay at the hotel, and we have always enjoyed it. The staff recognize us and go out of their way to take care of us. Everyone is friendly and goes out of their way to take care of you.
On this particular trip, my wife accidentally knocked over the lamp, which caused the electricity in the room to short circuit. They kindly moved us into another room (with the cleaning staff going out of their way to set the new room up the same as we set up the old room). They did this with no additional charges.
Stayed 30-Apr-2017 for 4 nights in 3nd floor deluxe double rooms with breakfast. Our group stayed in 3 rooms. We changed from room 3029 as it had ants embedded in the window frame.
4th time I am staying here (previous stays Aug-2016, Oct-2016 and Mar-2017)
Avoid the ground floor as we got bitten by mosquitoes every night.
A huge hotel with spacious bedrooms. During my earlier stays I hardly saw other guests and breakfasts were cold buffets with a hot-dish to order e.g. fried rice etc, but no second helpings of hot food. They always had a dedicated chef for the eggs.
On their busier days, with conferences, the buffet will also include a selection of hot Thai and English dishes.
Recent stays I have seen more guests and the hot breakfast dishes are on the buffet more often.
The rooms now have mini bars, previously they did not.
Sheets are changed daily for existing guests.
They have a children's paddling pool and a bigger adjoining pool.
The big pool is usually quiet until 5pm when the local kids and parents pay to use it as well.
The hotel also has a small kids playroom with plenty of toys.
There's a BigC 7-mins walk away, but you need to cross a busy road.
We phoned for tuk-tuk taxi's to take us into the town for 100-150Baht each way. There is a huge, very popular Mongolian restaurant 5-mins drive - away from the city centre.
Hotel provides a free airport pickup and drop-off, however trips to the closer city-centre are charged (cheaper to get a tuk-tuk taxi).
Stayed 04-Mar-2017 for 5 nights in Deluxe room 1023 with breakfast. 3rd time staying here, so it must be good. I telephoned from England to arrange an airport pickup. The hotel rep met me at the airport with a fancy sign. 2*other travellers were waiting in the minibus.
We stayed in a ground floor room and were bitten by mosquitoes at nights.
Had breakfast in the basement one day as the night before they had a wedding reception.
Hotel has a playroom with toys for the kids.
Sheets are changed daily.
We ate at a huge, very popular Mongolian restaurant 5-mins drive away - away from the city centre.
Pool was busy in the afternoons after 5pm with local children paying to use it.
The hotel provided free transport in their minibus back to the airport.
Love the shower. Good location, close enough to reach city easily, but outside of city so that you don't have the noise (we were there for New Years and only heard a little bit of fireworks at midnight). Room is very spacious and has carpeting (major plus for our 6 month old). Internet connection is spotty.
