"I stayed in Room 306 next door to the jacuzzi. Quiet area. A couple of points re my room - the full length mirror is in such a position next to the bed that you can’t actually use it because the bedside unit blocks it. The bath has no nonslip mat or hand rails and on several occasions nearly came a cropper! Additionally the marble step down from the bathroom into the bedroom should have some grip strips too. The courtyard/pool area is lovely and well maintained. During my stay, a bar snack order took over 40 minutes to arrive. There was a bar man on duty and one server. At busy times - lunch - more staff are needed to be on duty. I ordered focaccia but that was not what turned up. I didn’t argue after waiting for so long. However the pasta pomodoro I had the following day was excellent. I think this is a bit of a hidden gem and would stay here again. 5 minute walk to Naxxar centre."

"The food was good especially the buffet on Saturday night. The highlight of it was the pasta and the staff providing it. Also the roast table, it was good too. The construction work was a major negative. we had no idea before booking that a major new facility was going up within a few yds of the hotel. Again the bar staff were very good at the buffet."

"It was my first time in Malta. I had zero expectations and I was blown away. Especially how well kept the hotel was and how friendly and helpful the staff was. Rooms were clean and comfortable. When I checked out I was even offered a to go breakfast box as my flight was at 7am, which I couldn’t resist. Highly recommend this hotel and was worth every penny I payed. Will definitely be back :)"

"Location of the hotel is great. Based in Sliema/Griza area it is a 5 minute walk to the Sliema docks where you can easily hop on a ferry or one of the gondolas (€3 per person one-way) to Valletta. The hotel doesn't have an on-site pool but across the road there is Aqualuna which is like a beach club vibe (pool, sun loungers etc) and entrance is free to customers of the hotel. (You need to collect a receipt from hotel reception each day to access Aqualuna). Hotel is approx 15 minutes from the airport (traffic dependent). Room was cleaned every day and overall cleanliness of the hotel is good."

"Just don't go. Rooms does not look like advertised when challenged them I've heard it's upon availability. It's about 20 min walk to the harbour and over 1hr to valetta. Definitely not soundproof someone had a party at the restaurant and you could hear it all on the 2nd floor.you can find something in sliema for simmilar price which I would recommend as the place is too far from others . If you want your rooms cleaned you might need to pay extra (see the photo). Only one guy at reception was really helpful , if you unlucky with getting room downstairs that will ruin your whole stay ."
