I would highly recommend this hotel, it is an older property which I like as they have character and with that there are some things in the room that are a little tired but have no effect on comfort.
My room was comfortable, nice bed and the shower was powerful. Nice little velux window which was electronically operated.
I had dinner and breakfast here and both were of a good standard, staff all nice and pleasant.

"Friars Wynd hotel was an incredibly unique boutique hotel on my 3 week UK road trip. Within this area parking is very limited, but there was a car park within 100 feet of my door. There is free parking after 5 PM I think? Until about 8am? Which was completely acceptable.
