"The Rumi Punku is a gem, a real oasis in the middle of busy Cusco. There is a gate that is staffed by a security guard, so guests feel safe right from the start. The front desk staff were outstanding, answering questions and pointing out amenities. Tea and filtered water are available 24 hours. The breakfast offered many selections including breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and eggs cooked to order. A delightful place to stay when exploring Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. "

"Very friendly and service minded staff. I needed to bath my foot every day and they willingly found a bucket and brought boiling water to the room every night. The hotel is generally a bit cold. However, it did have hot water in the shower, which has not been a given at the hotels we have stayed at in Peru. "Endroit charmant avec une très belle vue de notre suite. Le petit déjeuner est très bien et servi dans un beau petit coin de l’établissement. "I stayed in three different hotels during my trip to Peru, and Sonesta was by far my favorite. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The location is about a 15–20 minute walk from the main plaza, which made it pleasantly quieter at night compared to more central hotels.
