The staff was most welcoming, efficiant and helpful. The balcony with river view was wonderful. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was special.

Portovella
We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under 12. We visited in March and it was very quiet/serene. Portovella has a beautiful view of the Douro. Riverside walk is just several steps down a hill. D'Autor Village
We stayed here for about a week with our children aged 13 and 11. We loved our time here, the estate the apartments are on is beautiful. The apartment was clean and the staff are friendly and very responsive. Breakfast was delicious too.

Hotel needs a serious upgrade / revamp, walls dirty and carpets worn and dirty.
