We arrived late so the restaurant at the hotel was the only option but it was an excellent choice, room was clean, quiet, spacious, wifi a bit weak at our end of the building. Old town is a short walk on the path along the river.

feels like a low budget campground

The photo of the location is deceiving, looks like its in the country but its actually an industrial area. Not a nice area. Even tho the bed is comfortable, the pillows are horrible and they also need darkening curtains. Extra chairs are needed to sit on the balcony. We bought a portable fan to keep us cool at night. Needless to say we did not sleep well for 3 nights. The bedroom is clean, staff is ok and you can rent bikes. They allow trailers/caravans to park in their parking lot right next to the restaurant where breakfast is served, but the worst part is the campers empty their "toilet" waste in the hotel walking through the front lobby with the camper toilet. I would not stay there again. This is a very low budget hotel.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und sind eine Nacht geblieben. Es hat uns gut gefallen. Man kann vom Hotel dem Rhein entlang gehen und kommt dann in die schöne Altstadt. Das Frühstück war gut.

Ich habe mit meinen Grosskindern eine unbeschwerte Nacht verbracht. Frühstück war lecker, Personal sehr freundlich, Preis/Leistung hat gestimmt. Einzig die Umgebung, so nah am Rhein könnte etwas idyllischer sein. Würde das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Sehr zu empfehlen!

Schönes Hotel direkt am Rhein. Freundlicher Besitzer und nettes hilfsbereites Personal. Mein Zimmer war sehr geräumig und zweckmäßig gut eingerichtet; sehr sauber. Frühstück sehr gut und sehr vielfältig. Die Küche des angrenzenden Restaurants (gehört zum Hotel) ist zu empfehlen! Mit Einbruch der Dunkelheit ist es eine sehr ruhige Gegend. Schlafen bei geöffneter Balkontür jederzeit möglich. Gerne wieder, wenn ein Kurztrip ansteht.

Bei der Ankunft war ich zunächst ein bisschen skeptisch, weil die Rezeption ein bisschen unordentlich aussah und mehr an eine Monteursunterkunft als an ein Hotel erinnerte. Beim Betreten des Zimmers war ich dann aber absolut überzeugt! Nagelneue, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Super Dusche, extrem bequeme Betten mit tollen Matratzen, himmlische Ruhe in der Nacht, eigener Balkon. Kostenloses Wasser stand im Zimmer zur Verfügung, ebenso Kaffee aus einer Kapselmaschine. Das Restaurant, das ans Hotel angrenzt bot leckeres Essen und am nächsten Morgen ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Super freundliches Personal. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Gutes Mittlklassehotel

Leider war um 21.30 die Küche schon geschlossen sodass es nur Chips und Erdnüsse zum Abendessen gab. Ansonsten geräumige aber einfache Zimmmer.

Nice people but room was stuffy

Very nice people, but uncomfortable nights sleep. The room was very stuffy but way too noisy to keep the patio door open. It also seemed odd to have a patio with no seating. The sheets were very uncomfortable. They are the t-shirt material and covered in pills, so like sleeping on sandpaper. I prefer cotton sheets.

Skønt hotel og beliggenhed

Meget rent, dejligt og moderne værelse, skøn udsigt fra balkon, dog med nogen støj fra tog på modsatte side af floden, men det hører sig til. Venlig betjening og superfin morgenmad. Dejlig beliggenhed og en skøn gåtur ind til byen på stien langs Rhinen og over den gamle bro til Schweiz. Vi har boet her flere gange og kommer igen igen.
