"The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. As was the bathroom. The restaurant attached to the hotel next door was excellent too and provided lovely well cooked food both dinner and breakfast. The only downside would be the internet connection. It was not very stable in my room and would randomly and often disconnect. I did report it to reception. This did not detract from an excellent hotel though. I would stay here again."

"We scheduled an extra day to spend some time in the area. We were able to use the free local bus system that stopped right across the street from the hotel."

"Very clean room, a little TLC required (shower door was not on its rollers, now fixed by my husband). Great breakfast and wonderful eat-all-you-can Chinese Restaurant."

"Schönes Hotel. Sehr nettes Personal.

"We only stayed one night at this comfortable hotel in beautiful Basel. Breakfast good, beds excellent and shower just the job. Staff very helpful in retrieving lost insulin. We’ll be back!"

"Loved my stay. Breakfast was nice and fresh. Will come again."

"The hotel is located in a convenient part of town and 3 trams stop just across the street. They provide access to all tourist areas in minutes which could not be more convenient. We appreciated the breakfast buffet which provided a lovely variety of options and gave us a good start to the day. The dinner menu was limited and expensive, but there are a few other restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. The front desk staff were all excellent and helpful.
