"The location was fabulous, stunning house and grounds to walk around, the suite was clean and spacious. My husband and I had a restful sleep…we didn’t try the spa as we were too tired after a long day however it looked good! Parking is always important to us and as with everything thing else this was great too! Genuinely couldn’t recommend enough. "

I was concerned it might be a bit far out but it was within walking distance of the attractions we wanted to see and I liked the quiet residential area. We ate in the restaurant and used room service. A bit more variety on the menu would have been good but we enjoyed the food we had. There was a large selection at breakfast and items were topped up regularly. We would definitely stay here again if we were ever back in Oxford. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Staying at Malmaison Oxford felt like doing time… The room was spacious, spotless, the bed was actually comfortable (shocking for a former prison), turning on the lights gives you that prison sound and the location is dangerously convenient for wandering Oxford. Add in the juicy history of the building and suddenly your overnight stay comes with a side of true crime vibes. Clean, central, and delightfully dramatic — 10/10 would get “locked up” again."
