Simple, clean and just what we needed. Also enjoyed delicious food at Grandma's. If it is busy, be patient and have a sense of humor. It'll be worth it.

The owner operator also runs Grsndma’s restaurant, a short walk down main street from the motel. A functional and comfortable place owned and operated by a super helpful guy who is also a great chef!

Cozy is a perfect name for this motel. It is a gem in a remote, practically a ghost town, area. The owner was very friendly and our small, clean room was perfect. Think fifties motel in the mountains to step back into another time. An additional bonus was the deer who came down to feed across the street each evening. Enjoy a meal at Grandma’s operated by the owner of Cozy Mountain just up the street.

I had a really good experience here. There were a lot of situational things that made me love it and the owner was really flexible with a delayed flight situation I had and made sure I had a place to stay. Also, he makes a killer burger. If I’m ever traveling through or near austin again, this is where I’ll stay. I also really liked everyone I met in town, the vibe, and the considerations the motel offered

The room was cozy. Outdated, but super clean and well maintained. The room fit the vibe of the town. Not much available in the town. Plan to bring your own food. The room has a nice size fridge/freezer combo and microwave. Great place to stay for a couple nights.

Good little Motel on our stop between Bend Oregon and Mesquite Nevada. Austin is a unique living Ghost Town with not a lot going on but it is a fun stop. Very clean room with a comfortable queen bed. Room was small but had a small fridge, microwave and an air conditioner.

Friendly owner, very clean rooms, air conditioning in room had only one fan speed but kept the room cool. Shower was nice and hot. Parking next to the room is very convenient. The town of Austin is a living ghost town. It was really cool to walk around and see some original old buildings.

Room and property were clean, how ever keep in mind this is a small town with only a couple places to eat and drink there is a gas station and ev hook ups Motel was quiet and clean no staff on location help your self coffee Great room good bed and hot water and nice linen

Nice clean room with plenty of towels and a refrigerator - enough for my overnight needs while on the road. I have stayed here before - last year, I think, and am happy that the owner is making a difference in this small, isolated town. I am thankful there was a room left for me to stay in!

This is a 2-star motel. Don’t expect Hilton. I was impressed with the quality of bedding. It exceeded expectations. The check-in process is a bit funky; you have to call in and there was no cell service.
