The check in was smooth and the lady (Christina/ Christine) was very nice. After an hour , we went out for lunch. I spoke with a man at the reception area. I asked for a city map and restaurant suggestions. He was not willing to answer and gave me a long face. Wonder if he has travelled before. Bad feeling after talking with that guy. Reason for the one star? Coz of him.

Great value and service
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. It’s a good location to reach the cruise port. Breakfast was 10 Euro per person and good value. Room was small but had everything we needed.

Inexperienced difficulty with operation of elevator. There was no help calling front desk from room. Had to go there in person. People were nice but operation lacking in TLC overall.

Staff needs customer svc training
Only one female staff member at the desk was nice but the male was nasty and not very helpful. He was pissed because I had asked for a quote for the airport transfer and he kept changing his answer and I caught him at various discrepancies so he was busted and I cancelled in writing and he still sent a driver, who was late because when he called me we were already in the van with the other service. The room was very very small, elevator claustrophobic, etc. We had also booked for our return trip from the cruise and cancelled after such treatment and mini-room and glad we did because for just a little more pricewise, we were very comfortable elsewhere and it was in the middle of everything. I would never book with this Hotel ever again and many of the staff could use some customer service training.

Dear Glen,there was indeed a problem with the hot water during your stay, however we dealt with that and everything went back to normal less than an hour later.We can understand your inconvenience but things like that can happen everywhere and since the problem was solved really soon, nothing can explain your unaccepted behavior to our staff and of course your inaccurate review.There was no smell in your room-smoking is not allowed in our hotel- and there is hot water.Next time you will make a review please make sure to be honest about it.

Perfect for a night stop over in Athens. We were meant to catch a ferry early in the morning, but unfortunately it was cancelled. Luckily they let us come back and use our room until check out time.

After a long flight, Piraeus Port Hotel was just what we needed. The location was perfect – right by the port for our early ferry the next morning, hot running water, AC working well, and a comfortable big bed. We also had a patio, which was simply lovely after traveling for many hours and the fact that there was a 24-hour desk was a perfect touch. Piraeus is not a fancy hotel by any stretch but is at an amazing price and has all the essentials. We were incredibly happy with our stay!

Great for the cost!
Hotel itself is decent enough considering the price. If you go into this hotel expecting a luxury hotel you’ll be very disappointed! It’s a good sized comfortable room for not a lot of money. It has excellent public transport connections. The area around it looks a bit unfriendly on first sight but actually I found it safe enough to walk to the local kebab shop or supermarket. The lift is VERY small and not good if you are claustrophobic! Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend you visiting the nearby islands of Ageina and Agristi by the ferry 10 minute walk of the hotel! Contact reception to reduce the temperature of the air conditioning as you can’t from the room!

Good value hotel
Very good value hotel for a one night stay as conveniently located for cruises. Reception staff very polite and helpful as was the cleaner lady we met on arrival. Same could not be said of the breakfast lady who really did not seem happy in her job. Good selection for breakfast and good alie at 10 eiris, just a shame all the hot food was not hot enough to enjoy properly!! A mixed experience but do remember its a value hotel so expectations cannot be the same as for a 4 star hotel!

The hotel is located close to the port which is ideal for a night’s stay before catching a ferry. The hotel is very clean, very comfortable bed & the front of staff are very helpful. The room is small in size but we were able to fit our two big suitcases in there. There are some maintenance issues, the TV was on a strange angle from the wall. The safe was locked so we couldn’t use it. The bathroom was modern but many things needed repair. Great eating options close by. We would safe again here.

We had used this hotel to be close to the port for an early ferry to the island. The hotel is clean and modern. However the area is disappointing. We also reccomend the hotel consider offering a shuttle service to the port. Having to grab 2 taxis for our family was ok, but not what we had preferred

The hotel was on a small quiet street. I had a nice balcony room, but a view of a closed building. Lia the receptionist was the most helpful knowledgeable and courteous person. She went above and beyond to help us with getting around the area. They have a bar but whoever was at the reception had to do both jobs. We asked for ice and a young man no name tag in the late afternoon was seemed to be bothered not wanting to be very helpful. We had a problem with our tv and he told me to unplug it instead of him calling or helping me. I had to climb on the table because couldn’t reach it.

The front staff was very friendly, especially the woman who checked us in. We arrived late to Athens and needed to Catch an early ferry for the islands so it was a good spot. Rooms are small and no frills- but perfect for our needs.

The hotel was a revelation, easy walk to the main shoping area and a 15min walk to the lovely marina area, with lots of options to dine and drink. The hotel was lovely, friendky helpful staff, clean modern rooms, and a wonderful breakfast. All in all we couldn't fault it. We only stayed 1 night before we caught the ferry but could of happily stayed longer. Would highly recommend this hotel.
