Room was super clean & big. Had a great view of the Nile. Since our flight leaves later at night, we asked if we could have a late check out. They were fully booked but accommodated our request. My husband came down with a bad cough and we just needed a place to rest. I’m so appreciative to the manager that made this happen.

Best Hotel in Aswan

Balcony overlooked Nile. Best coffee I had in 5 weeks in Egypt, thank you Zoza. Easy walk to market, lots of tour options. Must see Nubian village, all within easy reach from hotel.

Citymax Aswan seems like a hotel that used to be glorious and no longer is but it is still good enough to give it a good review. The check in process was very easy. Our room was very clean and spacious with big bathroom, a living room and a very comfortable king bed…we even had Nile River view. The restaurant could have a menu with broader international options but you can survive with what they offer! Breakfast are “buffet style”. The location is centric, close to restaurants and even a small shopping mall. All in all, it was a good experience to stay in this hotel.

The location was convenient and there were wonderful views of the river in all directions. We stayed in a junior suite which had a balcony and a large bathroom. The beds were relatively comfortable, and we were able to have our laundry done in only one day. The restaurant was under construction and the pool area was okay but not what we had expected.

Great place The only issues I had was the Jim was never open. And I was told the pool closed at 9 PM when I went there at 7:30 they had closed it for cleaning. 😢

The lavatory was in a very tight place couldn't use it. Morover I ordered a taxi for the airport was told I could order a local off the street 300 egyptian pounds or a limousine for $30. When the car atrived it was a dilapidated state but due to time constraints I couldn't argue so took the taxi rip off.

清潔な客室、心地のよいベッド。使いやすいシャワーやお手洗い、湯量や温度もよかった。エレベーターもあるので荷物があっても快適。目立つので、ツアー会社からも分かりやすく、ホテルの場所を間違えられない。周辺にはレストランも多く、オールドマーケットもあるので面白い。入り口にセキュリティもいるし、フロントにはいつも人がいてくれるので安心。夜まで車の音がするけど、疲れているので気にはならなかった。アスワンはゆったりと時間が流れるいい街だと思います！おすすめ。

セーフティーボックスが壊れて？いて 使えなかったこと、室内の明かりが 暗かったこと、シャワーが使いにくく、 又、水量も弱かった事など、施設の コンディションは、満足できませんでした。 ロケーションは、小規模ですが、フード コート、コンビニがあるショッピングモール と一階で繋がっいて、通り沿いの一階には、 銀行が数店舗あり両替に便利です。 ナイル川沿いで、部屋のベランダから 夕陽とナイル川が一望でき、その点は 良かったです。

いろんなサイトでこちらのホテルは概ね高評価でしたが、自分にはちょっと厳しかったです。 建物が古く窓枠が朽ちていて隙間があり、虫が入ってくるのではないかと不安でした。 シャワーも、後から取り付けたという感じでビーチサンダルを履いたまま利用しました。お湯はちゃんと出ました。 めちゃくちゃ古くて大きな冷蔵庫がありましたが、湯沸かしポットは使う気がしませんでした。 グラスもありましたが洗っていないようで汚れていて口紅が付いていました。 清潔な環境を望む方には不向きだと思います。 スタッフはとても親切で気にかけてくれたのはありがたかったです。 この値段なので相応かと思います。
