"The breakfast room was nothing like advertised. A sterile canteen. The breakfast was dire. There was no air conditioning in the room making sleeping very difficult. There was no mini fridge for cool drinks. The bathroom was very dated with a mouldy shower curtain. The walls were thin and thus you could hear the neighbours loudly. All in all one of the worst (yet most expensive) we have ever stayed in. The only plus. It was very central."

"Centrale, piscina sovraffollata e senza sdraio...fai il bagno e te ne vai, non c'è un posto per rilassarsi o per cambiarsi. La stanza era pulita. Buono il ristorante, un pó caro ma ok. La colazione soddisfacente, niente di straordinario ma c'era tutto il necessario. Comodo il garage che è a pagamento. Il personale è stato cortese."

"The inside of the hotel is very nice despite the outside being in disrepair. Was disappointed that the spa amenities were $30 for an hour. We were able to walk to the small town and from there take a local train easily to bigger towns."

"The location within a sanctuary is extraordinary BUT the 2 bar/ restaurants close about 6 and there’s only the hotel bar/restaurant. So if you want a bit of an evening out you must drive. Also, you can park very early or late but literally thousands of people come during the day so returning to the hotel with a car is impossible. We visited in August, so may be different other times of the year. Hotel is beautiful and the sanctuary with the Basilica and grotto very atmospheric- We wouldn’t stay...
