"Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there."

"Nice location. Most of amenities were new and convenient. However, there is a staff member who was not much helpful. He was not rude, nor willing to be helpful (we checked is 5/27/26 @ 4:41 pm, just in case who was at the front desk). He gave us only one key card even after I asked 2nd one. "A great location for a traveler visiting NY. I travel alone and the staff was super helpful. Delivered a fridge and blanket in minutes upon my request. Gym is great asset but was just sad there was no furniture up on the terrace. Promoted as an asset and would be a nice spot for morning coffee or afternoon wine. I went up anyway but no place to sit. Love that the windows open! Rare in a big city."
