"Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back. "
"Beautiful B&B in the country with beautiful horses, sheep and goats on the property. They offer riding lessons and walks too. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. This is a basic accommodation but very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was excellent as well. Breakfast was self-serve continental and adequate. Will definitely be back. ❤️"

"Notre plus belle découverte de notre voyage au Portugal! L’hébergement est situé en banlieue de la ville de Coimbra, à 1 h de Porto. Notre chambre, située dans une habitation de 5 chambres (3 plus petites et 2 grandes comme la nôtre). Notre chambre au 1er étage était parfaite, spacieuse et équipée dernier cri. Il y a une fabuleuse piscine extérieure très bien entretenue comme le reste. Coin de pays très calme. Stationnement privé. Belle vue sur les collines voisines. À 10 min d’auto du centre...
"Quinta das Lágrimas has such an important and interesting place in Portuguese history, which we enjoyed learning about during our stay. The old house and surrounding gardens are beautiful and romantic, even in the winter. Our room was in the spa wing, and it was large and comfortable, but the “Queen” bed was actually two twins pushed together (which is common in Europe), the shower flooded easily, and the bathroom door was extremely difficult to lock and unlock. "Comfy bed. Neat, tidy and clean. Fresh fruit available. Bright and spacious. A little tricky to find the first time, but this is more to do with the way google maps depicts the area (and how tired I was when trying to read the map 😉) than the directions received. Very responsive host. Would stay again!"
