"Check in was easy and the staff were amazing during my entire stay. I stayed in a single room, the room was surprisingly spacious and well laid out and had a decent sized bathroom. Couple of things to note: Room was on the third floor, there is no elevator. Not too much of a problem as the stairs are not steep or narrow. Room was in the”attic space” so being just over 5’ tall wasn’t too much of a problem, but anyone taller may find it a bit of a problem. Room had great skylights with...

"This is a lovely and peaceful hotel - the room was cleaned to a high standard, the food was really tasty, with a good menu and well presented food. I especially enjoyed the sea bass and there was a huge selection for breakfast. The staff are very polite and obliging - nothing is too much trouble. The grounds will look lovely in summer, but even in the winter they are still nice. I really recommend a stay here."

"The whole place is exceptional! We have stayed before and as a family it’s one of our happy places. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are so welcoming and attentive, facilities are spotless and it’s a beautiful setting and interior design. "We had a clean sufficient amount of water flowing through the shower. The room was spotless and bedding was clean . Towels were fresh. We liked theTudor‘s architecture with buildings. The only thing that we were not satisfied with spa. You could improve for better quality of like hot water in the pool and jacuzzi. Than you for the stuff politeness’s "

"We stayed over for one night. Concierge was great upon arrival, and staff were very welcoming. Reception area smelt lovely as we walked in and the surrounding are immaculate. The room was lovely, comfortable bed and plenty of room for the 2 of us. Had a drink in the bar but didn't actually eat in the hotel as we like to go out and about "

"My second time staying at Holiday Inn Express. My room 211 felt smaller than my first room 108. A comfortable bed so I got a good sleep. The small table to sit down at was a little dirty as was the top of the shower head. Not a major problem but if I do stay next time, I would prefer to stay on the first floor"
