"I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The welcome was warm and friendly, and I felt very well taken care of from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and everything was fresh and delicious. The only small thing I would have preferred was to have two chairs on the balcony instead of the lounge sofa. It would have been lovely to sit outside together and enjoy the balcony. However, this was only a minor detail and did not affect my overall...

"I'll start by saying that our expectations were far exceeded. Admittedly, as a US based traveling couple, we had never heard of Royal Garden Villas previously and simply found this property through the use of AI and comparisons to Bali. Once we arrived, we were delighted with our reception and check-in process, the first walk through of the room and exterior patio were better than any pictures on the internet, and we kept it simple our first night and ordered room service. "The location is breathtaking. The breakfast buffet and staff are very good. Once upon a time a very nice hotel. Today though worn down over years. Particularly bathroom sink pulling from wall. Particleboard sink, baseboard crumbling. Bath fixtures old, tarnished and loose. The exterior of my room/corridor was both dark and deteriorating. Although they were repairing the concrete staircase there was flaking paint everywhere. Including the terraces of the room. Again a very nice hotel in...

"We planned to stay here for 2 weeks but moved out after one night. We were told that the pools that are shown in the pictures were not accessible by us. Others were using the pools, but there was a locked fence between our units location and the pools. It seems the pools were closed for the units use for a while, and we were not informed about this...and the photos seem to indicate that the pools were available. Please note that there is no air conditioning. We were told to keep the windows...

"Everything was good except that the food at lunch does not have much selection."
