"Cleanliness of cottage was great! Breakfast menu was fresh and good selection of breakfast, on dinner was lovely and tasty food, definatley recomend. Staff nice and helpfull.😊 Property Facilities would need improving, lovely grounds and views, but some places (including a few Lodges) are abandoned and would need some invesment to put back in service."

"What a lovely stay at Newberry Beach Lodge. The property itself is lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Christopher was an outstanding host, great communication and very helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast! The location and surrounding area are also wonderful and my walking boots got a good outing. I fully intend to come back for a longer stay!"

"There is nothing you could complain about. The beds are lovely, nice pillows and very cloud like duvet. Perfectly clean and comfortable room. Our dogs were welcome in their pet-friendly rooms and even given a sausage breakfast to their delight. We’ve eaten here many times. The roast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Always the same high standard. This is the vacation “local” pub that you wish your village had. And so reasonably priced for the service and quality. "

"I was a bit wary staying at a pub chain but any reservations (except that for my room) were quickly rendered moot when I entered the grounds. The property is set back from the main road with a good drive leading to several parking areas. After checking in I moved my car to the parking near the accommodation which was several buildings surrounding a courtyard area. "The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. "An overnight stay for my wife and self, a proper pub in a village with decent food and warm exceptionally clean accommodation. Beer was good and locals were friendly, as were the staff, parking in the village square 50 yards from the premises. What's not to like . "

"Quite a lot around the hotel car park was a bit if a pain to find cause you have to go all around to park at back & then not a lot of spaces also didn’t appreciate dogs being in the restaurant when we were having breakfast to me that shouldn’t be allowed especially with food very unhealthy "

"Quiet and clean, with a simple Check-In and Check-Out process. Plenty of parking even for large vehicles, and spacious rooms. Great shower and heating kept us warm during a rainy week. Easy route to get to Woolacombe beach."
