" This house is very large with a full kitchen two bedrooms and a living room that is fully equipped with everything that you need. It is located on a beautiful vineyard with fruit trees that you are allowed to pick. The owner is an expat from America and very nice however he insisted that we paid cash and when we were allowed to pay credit card we had to pay at a higher exchange rate than what was agreed upon on hotels.com. We ended up hanging about $5 more than the agreed upon amount...

"Old-money elegance at its finest! I spent two marvelous weeks in a Superior Suite at Alvear Palace and it was everything I hoped for. This is classic, understated luxury. Marble bathrooms, herringbone floors, fresh flowers daily, and service that is both discreet and impeccable. The staff anticipates everything without ever being intrusive — that’s true old-money hospitality. Afternoon tea at L’Orangerie and dinner at La Bourgogne felt like stepping into another era. The entire hotel has a timeless, aristocratic feel that you don’t find anymore. If you want flashy and new, this isn’t it. If you want timeless luxury in the heart of Recoleta, Alvear Palace is it. Absolutely marvelous, and I’ll be back."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Very small, with a balcony, which is cool, but it was small. There was a little bit of noise due to nearby construction, nothing the hotel could do about it. We got used to know when the time was to start working for the jackhammer operator though. Great ambience for working related events and the hotel's decor is fantastic! At breakfast, it can get really crowded so, get there early. Overall, I think its location beats everything else. Nearby is a shopping center, lots of dining options, pharmacy, not too far from the main boulevard, and lots of kiosks (those are small stores that may have everything you need from snacks, to body lotion)."

"Excellent location and wonderful staff who were super helpful with tour and Tango dinner bookings. Old building with an Evita history. We has a lovely and big room. Excellent locations nearby including Fervor for steaks and rooftop bar. Jazz club in the building also very popular. Location removed a lot of concerns about safety and walking in the area was great and interesting."

"The staff at the hotel were amazing, helpful and always willing to help. The lunch and dinners were very good, the steaks were cooked to perfection. ( (The menu is the same with 5 or 6 additional dishes at dinner). Breakfast has a large selection of fruits and hot dishes Easy and direct access to the waterfall trails."

"Excelente lugar para aoljarse. Todo en orden limpio y el personal muy profesional. Tiene un buen restaurante con un servicio de lujo. La ubicación es lo mejor, a pasos de varios lugarfes turisticos y de compra. Muy seguro y con instalaciones de muy buen nivel, Muy recomendable."
