"Beautiful property with amazing staff. We arrived at nearly midnight which is when the front desk closes. I was able to communicate with staff via the Expedia messaging feature and the staff ensured that despite our late arrival, our check-in was smooth and pleasant. We were helped to our room and enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine. Though we only stayed one night, I would absolutely recommend Villa Barbarina and would come back."

"Leider war die Zufahrt von 2Seiten gesperrt, so dass teure Telefonate geführt werden mussten. Eine sehr freundliche Angestellte holte uns per Auto ab und schob alle Absperrgitter beiseite! Die Zimmervergabe war sehr sehr langsam, im Zweierzimmer erhielten wir ein upgrade (danke), die vier Personen mussten mindestens eine Viertelstunde warten, um mitsamt Koffern wieder zurück in einen älteren Teil des Hotels an der obern Strasse das Zimmer zu beziehen! "Room was fine, balcony had a high wall so had to stand to see over it. Pool and brach are nice but there is an intermittent sulphur smell near the beach and restaurant. Restaurant food is just ok."
