"We had to change rooms for the second night due how I booked the 2 night stay at the last minute - my fault. But must admit I was glad to move as the first night in the cottage across the car park was very noisy with unhappy guests (one off ? ) and banging doors (big sign on door - so regular occurrence?) ! "Stay here for the first time last night and would definitely stay again if I was in the area. The staff very friendly, the room clean and the bed very comfortable"

"Beautiful grounds and well worth a stay. Very good breakfast"

"Great overall experience only thing I would suggest is guests staying get a discount on food and beverage during their stay at Apex."

"The Shower was not working and was not fix while we were there."

"The stay included a full Scottish breakfast, but I am a vegan and could not eat most of what they cooked and I was never asked what I wanted for breakfast. I am a plain oatmeal breakfast eater, which I tought would be easy in Scotland. Even Mcdonald's has oatmeal."

"Another fantastic stay. Excellent location, staff, and always clean. I would like to see 1 extra piece of cooking equipment in the studio rooms, which is an air fryer. 2 hot plates, and a grill microwave are okay, but restrict food choices. Simple answer, I bought my own for £25. Sad as that sounds, solved all my problems. Will be staying again soon!"

"Our second stay in this beautiful and very comfortable hotel, exceptionally well hosted by Karen (such good breakfasts) and Graham (whose knowledge of where to go and what to do was amazing). Thanks for your care and attention! We will be back at any opportunity!"
