"I was attributed room 1001, on the mezzanine (floor A) which is equipped with a second, sound-proofing door in order to isolate the room from the vast lobby below. It was effective. However, there was simply no WiFi coverage at all in the room, especially from the desk at which I wanted to work in my laptop. This was reported shortly upon checking in (at 18:00), to which I was told nothing could be done but a note would be made. I can’t expect this to have been an isolated case, the wifi throughout the hotel having been reported as poor by other guests in several reviews. Breakfast was adequate. All members of staff were friendly and professional (Adil and his colleagues at reception, the very friendly lady and her crew in the breakfast room). "
