"We are so glad we chose the Alkima Hotel for our vacation to Athens! It was extremely close to everything which allowed us to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see. Although it is close to the center, it's in a less busy side street, making it quieter than other options. The rooftop pool and patio was beautiful, with stunning views of the Acropolis! "Ours was a very large Penthouse suite on the top floor with a superb furnished terrace balcony with a view of the town and the Acropolis. All the Psyri restaurants and music are nearby, just a short walk away, but the best thing about this place is that is in an upscale area that locals shop and hang out in. "The staff were nice and helpful. They also had socialising and activities but as we were only there one night we didn’t go. The common areas were decorated with cool furniture and were quite spacious. The room had what we needed. They were kind enough to let us store our luggage and access it multiple times either side of our stay so we could see the city more easily. The area was very nice and had lots of outdoor cafes and restaurants. We walked to the Acropolis and other sight seeing. "
