It was an overnight stay in Aomori but the stay was very comfortable. I did not expect much but the quality of the services by the hotel is excellent. The rooms were impeccably clean and the staff were friendly during the check in process. The hotel is very conveniently located near Shin Aomori Station which gives you peace of mind if you planning to travel to other destinations.

Toyoko Inn Shin Aomori

The hotel is very modern and clean and close to the Shin Aomori station. Breakfast is very good and the bed was comfortable. The only challenge is that there is little to do around Shin Aomori station, so you have to go to Aomori station for more restaurants, bars and shops.

Great option for train riders.

A very clean and convenient hotel next to the Shin-Aomori train station. Check-in and check-out are easy. Nice simple free breakfast with several choices.

The hotel is very close to the Shinkansen station which makes it very handy to stay and do day trips on the local line. I went to hirosaki castle cherry blossom festival easily from here. One train and one bus it was quite easy going . Breakfast was better than I expected. The elevators are quick and efficient. The bath is tiny. All up an easy stay and reasonable value for money

Convenient location to Shinkansen station for overnight stay travelling to Hokkaido , especially with breakfast included. Overall good value . Limited dining options around hotel , need to take short ride on local train to Aomori .

Great place to stay to get a train from Shin-Aomori stn. Only issue is 4pm check-in as most are 3pm. Room was excellent, had everything you need, block out curtain, hot water and good wifi. Bed a bit hard but had good pillows not the normal rocks in Japan. Didn't use any laundry facilities or free breakfast as early departure at 630am although there was a huge queue at 630 am. I was on 12F and you can hear trains a little bit but people were quiet by 10pm the night I was there.

Hotel was nearby JR station and located at a quiet area which was away from city area. Staff were helpful but to improve on their English language speaking as they use translator to communicate, very time consuming. Breakfast area was very small and cramped. At time need to wait for a while to get a table. Parking lots were very limited, need to come in early before 4pm to get a lot else to park at next private car parking area.

Convenient location: the property is located a short walk away from the Shin-Aomori JR station. Bit disappointed with my check-in experience: I was told that check-in started at 4 PM (it was 3:55 PM). However other guests were being checked in. Walls are thin: I heard banging throughout the night. Can also hear people using the toilet, hair dryers (the dryers are wall-mounted in the room, not bathroom). My toilet randomly flushed throughout the night and at times, the water had this red coloring. If you are just looking for an affordable place to stay that is close to the JR station, this is a good option.

Room is well appointed & new. Breakfast & service ladies were great including those during breakfast. My only complain is that they don’t change your cups daily with the towels… are we supposed to use them for 3 consecutive days? I don’t think that’s very hygienic. Note : we did empty all liquids for the cups to be changed.
