Absolutely spectacular hotel! A beautiful property with an amazing atmosphere and excellent facilities. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth the experience. I highly recommend taking advantage of the spa facilities, which were fantastic and one of the highlights of my stay. Highly recommended!

This hotel is unique and magnificent, built on the remains of a colonial times Dominican monastery, everything done with exquisite taste. The restaurant is five stars and there is an on-site spa and museums.

Love this place. Staff always very friendly and attentive. They maintain a very clean property, the rooms, the restaurant and the spa! The Sunday brunch is well worth it with a large selection of food. The spa is a must experience and highly recommend booking the rooms with spa access which makes it well worth it.

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had had. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property grounds were beautiful. And the food at the restaurant was delicious. We loved the spa so much we canceled our entire plans one day just to stay in at the hotel! Couldn’t have had a better stay.

Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful, the facilities are stunning, location is excellent, the room was a bit dark with limited view which was disappointing, and we had free access from room direct to spa but you could not lock this door so was of limited use . Breakfast buffet was superb

The room was clean, the hotel is on old ruins, the amenities are beautiful. The staff was not seen much and not as friendly as I would expect out of a hotel of this caliber. When compared to other local hotels, the facilities themselves are as good or better but the staff was not as friendly or helpful.

This is a hotel like no other in the world! Situated in a colonial city it was built around a ruin and made into a 5 star hotel! Any wise and knowledgeable traveler should stay in it and enjoy its different and beautiful settings as well as its service and food! Really excellent!

We had an absolute wonderful time at this hotel!!! We spent almost 3 hours just exploring the displays/museum of the hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, and the staff was beyond excellent and helpful. We loved the room which was like a mini apartment, that staff kept EXTRA clean, and enjoyed the morning/mid day coffee and treats that were put out for guests daily. We will definitely be staying here again for our return trip to Antigua.
