The Hotel was outdated and rooms were some kind of clean. The carpets were really old. The beds were comfortable. But our room kept loosing the electricity and we had to go downstairs a couple of times, so they finally sent an electrician. I asked at the front desk for iron but I never received it. The breakfast was decent. Overall this hotel is convenient for being so close to the train station but is not worth the money!

Hôtel très bien situé juste à côté de la gare. ´ Zaandam. Maximum de 20 minutes pour se rendre au centre-ville et maximum 30 minutes de l’aéroport. Je recommande.

Ich war zum 3. Mal in dieser Unterkunft, aber so ein schlechtes Zimmer (532, 5, Etage) hatte ich noch nie. Es war laut im Hausflur (auch nachts die Musik des Hotels, wir mussten 2 Mal in der Rezeption anrufen, damit diese ausgestellt wird), es gab ein Fenster im Zimmer, aus dem man nichts sehen konnte, da es zu weit oben war. Im Bad war der Drücker für die Klospülung locker. Allein das Personal war nett, aber ein 4. Mal werde ich nicht mehr kommen.

El hotel esta bien ubicado, justo al lado de la estacion de tren de Zandaam y un supermercado al ladito tambien hay varias tiendas y restaurantes muy cerca pero honestamente nuestra estadia no fue buena. Esta viejo, sucio, las alfombras sucias y manchadas, habia moho en el techo del baño y todo lucia como si nunca han limpiado… tuvimoa que ir al supermercado a comprar detergente para higienizar un poco la habitacion (la chica del lobby muy amable nos dijo que limpiaban una vez a la semana y si requeriamos que fueran a limpiar debiamos avisar 24 horas antes (¿?)…. Esta al lado de un parquesito donde se sienta la gente a fumar y a escuchar musica hasta altas horas de la noche. La ropa cama limpia, (lo unico). Volvería? No.

This hotel was ideally located for visiting Amsterdam . 10 minutes on the train (station located right beside hotel ). Hotel staff were lovely , room clean and very quiet. Restaurant looked lovely (although we didn’t eat there ) He area is lovely with a lovely little shopping and bars close by. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here for a week and I loved my time here! Genuinely wish I didn’t have to leave. You’re at Amsterdam Centra station within 15 minutes!!! Great location and amenities! The hotel was slightly confusing to get to at first, as you think you should head left when exiting the train station as that’s where it looks like more hotels are, but really you turn right and head towards an elevator, stairs & escalator! Head towards the bike parking garage if you’re confused!! Once you make it there you’ll see the hotel and walk down making your way thru a small park. Having a grocery store right across was so helpful and handy, as I enjoyed grabbing snacks and drinks to have in the very handy room fridge!!! The room had AC which was perfect for the heatwave happening. The tv was perfect. Shower was lovely and so were the shampoo & conditioner. Room cleaning was on the 3rd day and it was so nice to not have to worry about someone cleaning every day! Location was perfect, so easy to run up to the train and catch a train within minutes. Staff were so nice and helped me find my room and fix my keycards for me when they stopped one night. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!! Can’t wait to come back to Zaandam and the Zaan Hotel!!!

Hotel was in perfect location only minutes from the railway station,the hotel bedroom (407 ) Was very clean and spacious The hotel was spotless throughout with lovely decor,the food was gorgeous and all the hotel staff was so friendly and helpful from the time I booked into the hotel and when I left.The management should be proud of there staff.Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.Keith Jones.

The hotel is very nice and in a good location. Thought breakfast lacked a little - too many pastries and missing other staples of a breakfast. The outside of the hotel is a little overgrown and can be a bit intimidating when arriving home of an evening as quite a lot of people hang around - however they keep themselves to themselves and don’t cause any issues.
