"What an absolute delight, start to finish! The check in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and chatty, genuinely interested in their guests. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate are offered most of the day, self service, which is great. The bar was open until midnight and the rooftop terrace offered nice views and another place to sit and relax. The room itself was wonderful! So much attention to detail from the lights around the bed, swing, bluetooth speaker, and small kitchenette. It was wonderful. Check out was easy, just a key drop, but again, very friendly staff upon exit. The location is perfect...three minutes to walk to the train into the city. Honestly, it was the best."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn in West Park. The last two days of our stay was a challenge. The hotel didn't have Hot Water! Despite the loss of hot water, we will stay at the hotel again because of the close proximity to our relatives."

"This is a very nice new hotel. It was very clean. The staff speaks German (of course), English, and Spanish. The room was nice. If you are an American who doesn't much care for German pillows, they have American style pillows in the rooms. They still have only duvet blankets but there is Air Conditioning. The American Embassy (McDonalds) is right across the parking lot from the hotel as well as a gas station. The gas station was very busy in the evening with lots of people just hanging out in the parking lot or eating food. This made it somewhat noisy outside, but with the window closed, you wouldn't much notice it. If you are using the parking, be aware that there is a 12 Euro per night charge that is not included in the room cost. The continental breakfast was very good. The staff was constantly restocking the food and removing the dirty dishes of guests that had finished. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Munich and Dachau. This was a great hotel at a lower cost than anything within the city of Munich."

"This property is relatively well maintained, but amenities could be a bit better. In the suite there were no mugs (just small coffee cups), no kettle (so no tea), no cutlery and no iron, but there was a stovetop and a microwave, therefore it felt a bit odd, although some cupboards in the kitchen were locked, so who knows if those things were just locked away. Hair drier could do with an upgrade as well. But overall suite was spacious and clean. One downside, they have pushed two beds together, instead of it being a double bed and in the middle of the night one of the beds started drifting away, which was kind of funny, but a bit strange and not what you would expect. Staff was friendly, restaurant is fabulous, breakfast a bit average and location is OK, 14 min walk from U/S bahn or you will need to use the bus or taxi to get there. So if you are looking for something in that area which is basic, it is a good find. Otherwise if you prefer something more elevated amenities wise, it might not be a good fit for you."
