"Excelente"

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"This hotel is quite easy walking distance into the main "old" part of town ... Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, River Avon, multiple churches, tons of restaurants. We loved our spacious room with a gorgeous high ceiling and updated bathroom. It felt like pure luxury after our cramped stay in London. We chose to enjoy their breakfast after an early morning walk down the river and around the Royal Victoria Gardens. "Very very difficult to get up to our room because of the multi levels of stairs but more importantly copious copious doorways that had to be unlocked to go through to next section. I understand the idea of safety but the situation was frustratingly comical- how laborious and time consuming it all was."

"Was good breakfast, very low range of meals at night, room was very odd, floor was very uneven in bedroom and the bathroom was not level. Door of room had a big gap that showed how uneven the floor was."

"A lovely room. Light airy with big bathroom, comfy bed, excellent complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits in spacious room, with great view. Breakfast and evening meal all homemade/cooked. High standard and delicious."

"What a little Gem! Easy to find, great instructions from the Host. Very clean and a super comfy bed. It was very hot whilst we were there but lots of windows which could be opened as well as a ceiling fan and table fan. An absolute plus for me was a cafetière and really nice ground coffee ! About a 25 min walk down hill into Bath and a 10 min bus ride back up. The only negative is the parking but we were able to park next to there church which had no restrictions and we left our car there...

"A perfect room for visiting Bath. The room was very large well decorated and very comfortable. The host Richard was a Joy very attentive to any of our needs and full of interesting stories. Breakfast in the dining room was something special complete with a spectacular dumb waiter. We will certainly be back!"

"A wonderful stay, the Inn is gorgeous! Our room was very clean with wonderful toiletries and amenities. The place was very quiet, which could have been due to the pub being closed that day/eve - worth checking opening days and sorting alternative food out. However, as the pub was closed the owners let us sit out in the beer garden which is beautiful and got us a glass of wine! The breakfast was sensational also, highly recommend a stay here!!"
