Shower took a long time to get hot water. Beds were comfy. Be aware even in summer, there are limited dining options nearby. The breakfast was ok although limited. No GF options and staff member was grumpy and overworked. Eggs werenot ready when I turned up for my breakfast and coffee machine only would make hot chocolate! Its these little things that make your stay and they were missing!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

My experience with the hotel was really terrible as when I arrived with my family at the hotel 7 in the morning after a delayed flight they informed me that my booking with the hotel had been cancelled. I was shocked as in line with their late arrival policy I had phoned as well as emailed to let them know of my late arrival. Thus, I had to speak to the manager to sort out the issue which after an hour finally got sorted. Unfortunately the rooms that we had originally booked had been provided to someone else so we got different rooms that was not very convenient especially if you are travelling as a family. Moreover, they informed us that we would have to pay for our rooms again despite us paying the full fee of both rooms to Hotel.com. However, after serious questioning and an hours wait they finally found the payment of one room. But, I told them that we had booked 2 rooms under the same booking which they then found. Then we were finally able to get breakfast and check into our rooms. This was a very disappointing experience as I had a 2 year old child with me.

I stayed there a few years ago and it was really good and on same assumption I went again but it was complete and utter disaster from day one. Staff unprofessional. The breakfast was terrible and cherry on the top the breakfast lady could only moan in French at customers and all the time she will deliberately clanking plates and cutlery around to enforce her miserable state of mind as if she been slaved to work there. Parking is very limited and as a tourist when you come late, all bays are full (2 disabled 12 normal). They charged me city tax on arrival however, in between stay they said they need to charge me again. At checkout, found out there was no payment due. A couple of times, had to ASK again n again, REMIND again and again to clean the room whilst away. The bathroom shower had no pressure at all and was shown to them yet they didn't do anything about it. With family, it becomes so annoying to deal with such matters. CAUTION: Stay away, especially from the dinner lady in case you still bump into them. She will teach you etiquette on how to eat :-)

Has put us off ibis styles hotels

Entrance to property hard to find and had to go round 3 times. Property run down and no way near the standard of other ibis styles we have stayed in. Room dirty and unhygenic (linen and towels clean). Dirty carpet, dirty toilet floor, dirt in bathroom and dirt on the walls. Didnt get the room that was booked and hence the ammenities expected. Secure underground parking available. Bed not comfortable. Breakfast - continental and satisfactory, nothing special.

A reasonable stay overall, main disappointing aspect was that the toilet and shower room are separate and there is no basin in the toilet... so need to step out of the toilet to the shower room to wash hands afterwards Staff though is very friendly and helpful

Place getting worn down

Place starting to get worn down. Mildew in bathroom. Free breakfast was not that good - but better than nothing. Uninteresting neighborhood - like often with these hotels, but short walk to tram going right to Geneva center. Free parking a plus. Surely a grade below what we usually get - but price lower as well. Elevator broke down while we where there.

Terrible hotel

Hotel is a nightmare. 35 C degrees outside and Air-condition is not working on the top floor. Mouldy bathroom tiles. Only see through curtains on windows. Window open only fully so cant leave open all night . Charged full price. Hotels.com sent us credit coupon as hotel refused any reduction in price. Avoid the place.

Toilet is not working properly, keep flushing non stop. No dark blind on the window. Just tranparent, so early morning the sun will wake us up. Ask extra pillow & towel no respond till we had to go downstair. We asked to storage 1 of our luggage since we will stay for 3 days in Ibis later. When we came back, we had to wait for more than 2 days. No manager around for more than 2 days. We had to wait for our luggage until last minute (around 10 pm) to get our luggage. Food are ok, customer service are horrible. Property is very bad condition.

I recently stayed at a property booked through Wotif.com, and I must say it fell far short of my expectations. The images on the website did not accurately represent the state of the property. It was in a very dilapidated condition, and there were several issues that left me disappointed. Upon arriving, I noticed flashing lights in the hallway outside our room, which was quite unsettling. The bathroom had noticeable cracks in the screen, and there were questionable stains on the carpet. Shoddy repair work was also evident around the door frame in the bathroom. To add to the frustration, there were no information booklets in the room for contacting reception. Our room's cleanliness left much to be desired as well. Our rubbish was not cleared on the first day, and even the basic amenity of soap wasn't topped up. Surprisingly, there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which is quite standard in most accommodations. Furthermore, the phone in the room had a persistent static cracking line, making it difficult to use. The children's area was also disappointing, as it lacked any toys, and the wallpaper in various parts of the property had been ripped off. One of the most frustrating moments of our stay was when we arrived at 1 am, only to find that the hotel did not have my booking in their system. Strangely, they had the booking of a traveling companion who we had booked for in the same reservation. This lack of organization and communication was highly inconvenient.
