"We absolutely loved our stay at Verdelago and would happily return. The resort is beautiful, the staff were wonderful throughout, and the restaurant team in particular were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really made the stay feel special. Honestly, the only things missing for us were a spa and a heated pool. Add those and it would be pretty much perfect! We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again."

"The location is good for us as a base for daily trips in the surroundings. There is a garden with a pool, a living room (also the breakfast room), and a kitchen to be used. "This was my first visit to the property however it will not be my last. Beautiful outlook with plenty of greenery and fruit trees to sit among. Breakfast is a feast with a little bit of everything, all the tarts and bakes a handmade by the hosts it is delicious. "The gym was only available after 3pm . Before that , one had to pay €5 to have access to. From 12 noon to 3 pm . I think this is ver unfair . Otherwise, I like this Hotel . I have been coming every 4 years in a row."

"Aside from the confusing parking, between reserved for hotel and for public, the stay was perfect. It was a quick check in and the room was plenty for two people to stay in. It is straight-forward and easy, includes resturant, breakfast/dinner and has a pool area to relax. The staff were amazing and spoke multiple languages to accomodate guests with different nationalities. Overall stay was great. Location was very close to many shops and restuarants in the area of Monte Gordo."

"The only hotel on the beach but very vintage since it was built around the 1960’s Bedrooms are small we were at the 4th floor with ocean view. It just needs an uplift and plumbing is smell sewage at times but overall a very nice location and good food and very friendly."

"Very clean hotel with very helpful staff. No bar Pool very small Shame there are no other boarding options. Fortunately some great local restaurants within a few minutes walk. My room was on the 6th floor with a very big balcony, shame about the birds and their mess daily so not welcoming."
