"Nicest hotel/stay I have had in Blowing Rock. Everything was clean and just nice. Biggest room and bathroom I have ever had period. Love the backyard area to sit enjoy the outside. No there isn’t a pool, bar or food. But I knew this beforehand. Only negative thing I noticed, which isn’t that negative was the shower head location. It would be more practical if was moved to other side of shower. Having the opening of the shower with no door and the shower head in same location causes the water to spill and splash out. But it was an amazing shower either way 😁"

"The room was very clean! The room was airtight; it turned cold overnight but our room stayed at a constant 71 degrees! I loved the rocking chairs and the porch! "

"Very tired, shabby and in need of upgrade ... which they are working on. I read on reviews 'nice views', which i couldn't see through the dirty windows. 'Restaurant on premises' was closed due to renos so we had to go down the windy mountain road into town for dinner and breakfast (The Town Tavern in Banner Elk was excellent). Carpet desperately needs changing. What they could clean they did ... clean comfy bed (but a Murphy bed? how do you clean behind that? You don't! ). New shower curtain ... thank you. Shower head is awf. Linens clean. My suggestion, wait until renos are done and then give it a try ... there's potential"

"Everything was great. The only problem was the room was not cleaned properly. Dust, crumbs on floor and desk was there all the days. Usually I clean the crumbs I make off the desk but wanted to see if they would vacuum the ones on the floor. They didn’t. "
