If you are flying in from Basel I recommend you book a Flix bus in advance to take you to Colmar rail station. It doesn’t cost much and only takes an hour. Only thing that let the room down was the creeky floor of the whole room that gave the impression to the occupants below and led to a complaint from reception that we were stomping about when in fact we had no shoes on at all!
