"It's a beautiful Inn with a lot of history. The restaurant was closed when we got there, and after a long journey, we really needed something. Our room was pretty small, and we had no way to walk around the room with our suitcases on the floor."

"Managed to book the last room available a twin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. Said own bathroom but was across the public hallway. At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out. Breakfast was great with outlook over country side."

"We were Not !! Told we were in a chalet cottage, it didn't advertise cottage either it was dark dingy and uncomfortable. The continued breakfast was stale croissants and the orange juice the bottle was black. There were no 24hr staff either "

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"Kings Mills is one of the finest hotels we've stayed in, in Europe and the U.S. From the beautifully manicured gardens to the lovely decorated king suite, the great bar, sitting room, and dining room, it is exquisitely maintained and managed by a superb staff. The concierge and reception staff were very helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We loved the gardens and enjoyed having breakfast and tea after a long day out. We would definitely recommend it to friends and plan on coming back...

"The hotel location and in-room amenities were excellent. They thought of so many things when designing the room product such as fogless mirrors, ambient lighting, great dark-out shades and numerous other items. I would have rated the hotel much higher, except for the cleanliness and maintenance of the room product. I am assuming some additional staff or training would help in this area as vents were extremely dirty, showers had some mold in areas and overall the room was very dusty. I knew...
