"My father and I just had a recent stay at Hotel Borg for three nights. We were very upset with the service from the housekeeping staffs looking after our room. When we first arrived to our room, we found out that our welcome fruit basket was empty. That was not what we expected to see at a (5-star?) luxury hotel (as stated on the hotel’s own website). We called and asked about that and the staff came to our room with some fruits in the plastic bags and handed that to us. On the next day after...

It is a nice sized suite with everything we needed including a kitchenette with: sink, dishwasher, microwave, stove top, mini fridge and washer/dryer which was so helpful. Changes I would suggest are to add some nonslip mats in the shower and bathroom as the floor tiles, while beautiful, are quite slick. And a fan for summer. "

"We had a great stay at this hotel. Everyone was very nice. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Reykjavik. The lady at the front desk was super helpful. She helped us figure out how to use public transportation to get to the city center and buy some medicine. The room was nice and specious. There was no Phone in the room, so we had to go to the front desk if we needed something. I recommend this hotel just know is far from Reykjavik city. "
