However, when we arrived we need to make a local phone call for waiting the staff to open the hotel (even though there was another staff inside and it's freezing outside)... "Wow! What an incredible location around all the shops and Rsinbiw street, the church and the lake where we walked a couple blocks to watch the northern lights reflect on the water! Hotel also has a restaurant along the street with amazing lamb soup, and your breakfast in there is included as well. Wonderful spread for breakfast. They also have parking right there, it’s tricky to find so contact the hotel! "

"We had an amazing stay at the Reykjavik Treasure during our 4 day trip to Iceland. The property was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The house is old, so there are some quirks, but they did not bother us. The breakfast was delicious, healthy and filling. "

"2 adults + 2 kids (6 & 9) - August 2025. Really nice room (biggest room) with two sleeping areas, a living area, kitchenette and street view. It really made for a comfortable and pleasant vacation. Conveniently located to all the main restaurants, shopping and harbor. Bus stop 1 is only a minute away, where you catch day tours. Wonderful staff (thanks Sergey & Gina!) and a nice breakfast in the bar area. I highly recommend and will stay there again. "

I chose the upper berth, clean, safe, really cute with a hot tub on the roof and kitchen amenities (shared refrigerator, microwave, George Foreman grill, plus beer and wine for sale). The staff can recommend great outings for every price range, including a $6 USD public bathing spot and a nearby park with waterfalls. The excellent and centrally located. "
