"We just loved this place. This hotel is within walking distance from the train station. They do offer complimentary luggage pickup, but it was not available when we arrived because we requested it too late. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a vintage radio, and vintage record player and standing tub. They offer complimentary cookies, drinks and ice cream. The staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant. We had a great time."

"Another relaxing stay at Apex Bath hotel. Friendly staff, food amazing. We had a family room which was spacious and beautifully presented. Central location. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and could not fault it!! Well worth a stay"

"Room was small but clean enough. The big problem with us was the stairs and no lift. We were at the top of the hotel and quite a few flights of stairs . We are in our 70s and had two suitcases about 45lbs each. Ended up leaving them in the car and just taking what we needed from them for the night. We are from Canada and I understand a lot of hotels in Britain are like that."

It would have been good to be forewarned of what to expect rather than just that we’re maintenance works. It was a surprise for my Fathers 81st birthday and it was sad that the room was hit and surrounded by scaffolding"

"If you want to sleep in a room About the size of a garden shed, where there isn’t a wardrobe, drawers and couple hooks on wall to hang your clothes. If you want a double bed wedged against a wall, so you have to climb over the person sharing your bed. Who may not be a partner. Then this is the place for you."

"Very very difficult to get up to our room because of the multi levels of stairs but more importantly copious copious doorways that had to be unlocked to go through to next section. I understand the idea of safety but the situation was frustratingly comical- how laborious and time consuming it all was."
