"Stunning building but the maintenance of it lets it down. The hostess at breakfast was very friendly and helpful, but the service itself was chaotic. They should be serving barista made drinks with breakfast rather than having queues at an instant machine. Some people were ordering from menus, others weren’t. The staff seemed very stressed. The room was basic but ok value for money. The spa treatment was the highlight"

"The room we stayed in was far too hot. Even though we had the window open, the temperature control set to 16°C and the fan on, it was very uncomfortable. We found it difficult to sleep. We also spent as short a time as possible in our room. We were disappointed with the food available. The website advertised a Market Menu, which wasn't available. Just the expensive menu in the restaurant to choose from. However the breakfast staff we very courteous and the choice of food was excellent."

"Cabin on the water was lovely & the balcony a great feature although needed an umbrella & seat cushions. Unfortunately the bar & terrace area was taken over by a golf presentation so a little disappointing as very limited free seating & early closing for bar & food provision. Huge stain on the bedroom carpet, bathroom door hard to close & a very noisy toilet seat! Plenty of parking & a quiet night’s sleep. It was close to our planned event but wouldn’t stay again."

"The room was disgusting, like a seedy motel in the rooms with broken windows, stained carpets and walls, the beds were over 10 years old (looked at the date on the mattresses) googled the beds they should only be used for 5 years and 7 years max with proper cleaning facilities which I am positive this place did not have. Beds were brown and stained. The pool is a scam and photos of it should not be in the listings. When you get there they tell you its owned by a different company and you need...
