Hampton Inn & Suites Albany Airport
The hotel was dirty and under construction. Front desk staff were rude and I had to sleep in a room that must have been the last not being renovated, and smelled like primer paint. Workers were sanding drywall at night.

Hyatt Place Albany/Downtown
Room was like brand new, comfortable bed, breakfast buffet had lots of choices. Only downside was parking which required a short walk from a nearby parking lot which was $10 per day. The weather was good, but if was raining or snowing it would be a pain
