"Such an amazing trip. We stayed in the Akumal property and it was so great to be able to use all of the other properties. We all talked about making this an annual trip! Can’t wait to go back."

"We loved the resort. It looked like it had recently remodeled. All the furniture and decor in the buffets and restaurants looked new. The food was amazing! The outdoor sunset bar area was huge and a great way to relax before air after dinner. So many options for drinks, ice cream, coffees! The room was clean and well appointed. It looked modern and fresh, guessing also a recent remodel. Not the biggest fan of the energy saving motion sensing lights in the bathroom. My daughter was in the tub and out of the range of the sensor so she was tasked with getting out in pitch black. Also, having the lights turn on full force when you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is quite a wake up call. That being said, the lights were our only criticism of our visit to Grand Sirenis. There were plenty of shuttles to take you places on the resort if you want, but you can easily get your 10,000 steps (and then some) if you love to walk like we did. There are lots of steps, so I would be hesitant to bring my very much less mobile in-law; however, if you are savvy finding elevators and using the shuttle, I think we could find solutions. Lots of pools - quiet if you like quiet, energetic if you prefer that. Lots of seats around the pools and beach. We didn't visit the beach as much as planned because of the sargassum. I think it must be a losing effort at this point of the season so except for some pushing around, it wasn't really being removed except by the member beach club. "

"There is no significant beach. The rooms are nice, the food and drinks are very poor. The entertainment is nil to none. This is not a five star resort, not even close. "

"We never went to a elacart due people can book online prior to getting to hotel so people who never been there have no chance to go to a meal, no people around the pools asking for drink orders ,having to pay to see some of the shows is not all inclusive resort, the prices at the gift shop are very high also,having one room key is inconvenient "

"Our room was extremely clean, all staff was excellent. The manager Claudia did her best to accommodate us and was very pleasant and helpful. Laura and Elizabeth also were friendly and helpful and looked after our needs promptly. Thankyou for making our holiday experience wonderful!❤️"

"Pool was nice a little cool but you got used to it. We’re more beach people so we spent most of our time there. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Claudia,Isabelle, Yeplady (?) and Eduardo??, (not sure of the last two’s names sorry) went above and beyond! Rooms were well cleaned daily. Food was great!"
