Staff were excellent. Very friendly and were excited to promote Aizuwakamatsu and the Fukushima mascot, Akabeko.
Helped me by moving me to a non-smoking room after I had mistakenly booked a smoking room.
Breakfast was okay, and free.
Parking is on-site via a mechanical tower.
One elevator for 11 floors - the elevator is often crowded, with a queue sometimes.
My only problem was that the rooms are not soundproofed, the other guests on my floor were extremely noisy and could be heard through the walls and shouting in the corridoor.

The walls are a bit thin, you can hear your neighbours.
The hotel is conveniently located. Staff are really nice.
This really is a perfect location. Train station is literally across the street. Easy access to buses too. Free breakfast every morning. Room was spacious. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Professional staff, clean, warm, excellent breakfast, coffee break area. All good.
Location & Surrounding Area
The hotel is located right opposite JR Aizu-Wakamatsu Station, just about a 2-minute walk away. There is a large 7-Eleven within a 2-minute walk downstairs, along with a few nearby restaurants. However, like most hotels in Aizuwakamatsu, it is a bit far from the town’s main attractions, so you’ll need to factor in extra transit time for sightseeing. Keep in mind that Aizu is a small town, so don’t expect large shopping complexes like Don Quijote—it’s mostly small, local shopping streets.
Room & Perks
The room was overall very clean and well-equipped with all the essentials. Basic amenities are available in the lobby for guests to pick up. The highlight of this hotel has to be the complimentary breakfast, as well as the free coffee served in the lobby—a great incentive for budget-conscious travelers looking to save on trip expenses!
We thought that the location was great. Right across the station.
Walking distance to some restaurants and shops.
The daily Japanese breakfast was delicious and convenient.
Would definitely stay here if we decide to come back to Aizuwakamatsu again.
Partner and I shared a room - quite a small space, but totally comfortable for a couple nights!
Everything was very clean and tidy, and staff were very friendly.
There was a smart TV in the room, and good wifi.
They make a good effort for eco-friendliness too!
It’s literally a 1-2 minute walk to Aizuwakamatsu Station, and there are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity. They also offer a complimentary breakfast buffet which is lovely!

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The room's soundproofing is awful—I could hear people snoring next door at night, let alone their conversations. The staff gave us a small notice about breakfast and amenities, but the information was outdated. When I asked them about it, they simply said,'今はもうないです'. The location is convenient for the station and bus terminal though.
What's good:
-very close to the train station
-free breakfast (Japanese style)
-rooms are spotless
-reception staff can speak English
-laundry facilities (with washing line in bathroom)
-good range of shops and izakayas in the immediate vicinity
What could be better:
-walls are very thin! I swear I heard someone in the next room doing their Duolingo lesson. My room was next to the lift and I could hear the mechanism all night. Ear plugs are a necessity
-very little obvious clothes storage, but with creative use of shelves and desk you can unpack a large case
-only one lift for a 10 storey hotel, which can create a lot of waiting
