"The view was absolutely incredible.
The staff — especially the man at the front desk — was extremely attentive, professional, and cheerful. The hotel itself was just amazing. The view from the room at the back was breathtaking.
What I liked less was that the mattress was, for me, way too firm — or maybe just old and worn out."

"We have stayed here on previous trips to the island and this is one of my absolute favourite hotels, anywhere, comfortable in all respect’s, understated, unpretentious luxury.
Also very close to all that Ponta Delgada has to offer, would thoroughly recommend this hotel."
