"My second time here. The staff are always friendly and nice. They are the best part about this place other than the pools. Always friendly and nice. The place is dated and needs a refurb badly. Only part of the lights in our room worked. But we didn’t make a fuss as we were only staying one night. The only really issue I saw was people leaving dishes/cups "

"Horrible is an understatement. This was by far one of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed at. The only parking available was an under ground parking and the entire property was filthy. There was garbage piled up in the corners, a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the parking, and the rooms were extremely outdated. The cleaning standards were unacceptable. The bathroom was dirty, the room barely looked cleaned, and there was even a blood stain on our bedsheet. To make matters worse, upon arrival we were told the pool was closed for renovation, something never mentioned beforehand. The next morning, we went down for breakfast only to be told that was closed too. I honestly do not understand how this hotel received any stars at all. If I could give it a minus 5, I would. I would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to avoid this place."

"You know….for a person that moves about a lot from Vancouver island and PG I’ve stayed at many establishments along the way….. I’m very pleased with the Reno’s done here; as an Expedia booking it was of course very easy booking experience. But the hotel itself here in wee Hope BC impressed me a lot. Modernly furnished rooms, all the amenities I’d like available, lovely big glass enclosed shower, very nicely and tidy layout, clean, very much loved the Keurig coffee machine, comfy bed, this room was very well planned out. I felt well looked after. Although my buddy didn’t make it as there was a sudden death in her family and we weren’t going to have the road trip we’d planned………after that word got to me suddenly I was there alone and I felt very safe and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel, and surely am coming back to stay here and meet up with her for hugs, etc. on my way back home."

"Location is wonderful and parking is available for a nominal fee. We had a room with water & mountain view - lovely. There is no closet, whichbis odd. Staff were nice and provided a hairdryer upon request. "

"This is the second time I've stayed at this Coast Hotel. I typically travel here for business and it is always pleasant stay. I found the hotel staff very helpful and found the business center useful. I need to do a lot of printing while on the road, and the reliable printer was definitely a huge plus. I also, on occasion, had to borrow some office supplies (stapler, hole punch, etc.), and the hotel staff were more than accommodating in that regard. I wish I wrote down her name, but there was a Ukrainian girl at the front desk who was more than helpful and very friendly. The rooms are large and always clean. I also enjoyed the electric bidet that is toilets are equipped with. I used the swimming pool and gym facilities and they are clean and excellent. There are plenty of food options within walking distance from the Hotel, not to mention the new Montana's in the hotel lobby. I will definitely be staying here again."

"All things were great. I do wish breakfast opened half an hour earlier. There was often no seats as everyone was waiting for 7am when it opened."
