"Room smelled like smoke, no windows that open to air out the smell, and thermostat didn’t work so it was very hot in the room. "

"We chose this hotel specifically because it had both the continental breakfast and a pool. The pool was wonderful, the front desk staff is really kind and helpful, the hotel restaurant was great. The “breakfast” was severely lacking. There are no hot food options (no eggs, bacon etc), old weak coffee, and a lady who chases you down for vouchers (?) we had never seen that before. There are signs limiting each guest to one waffle, and you need permission to take your breakfast up to your room. The bagels are microwaved and then set out to dry out in the glass case, and the juice machine was mostly empty. It was wildly over policed. I don’t know what kind of issues they had that caused them to need this structure but it made for a breakfast we didn’t even bother with the second day. Other than the sub-par breakfast situation, the hotel is about what you would expect. It is older and doesn’t have the upgrades that newer hotels do, but the pool is great, the hottub is hot, and the slide was a highlight for my kids. "
